Coronavirus Restaurant Status in Hurricane, Utah
The NBA canceled all games for this season, airports are empty, and places like Italy and California are closing down restaurants and bars in order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. We have not yet been given word to close down our restaurant here in Hurricane, Utah, but we are taking precautions like most of the community and world. In order to better serve our customers here in Washington county, we will be allowing curbside pickup.
We have seen a dip in service due to this epidemic. Panic buying in our local grocery stores is occurring, where bread and toilet paper, among other items, are out of stock. Grocery store employees commented on how hectic it is in the mornings and the state of the crisis is split between panickers and people who are not placing enough concern into the matter. Dixie State University is canceling concerts, Walmart and other grocery stores are reducing hours to clean up and restock on downtime, and schools and churches have been closing.
We hope you stay safe in this trying time. To stay informed on the coronavirus we recommend these sites: https://coronavirus.utah.gov + https://www.stgeorgeutah.com
